Position Overview:
- High School Instructional Resource Teacher –
- Provide specialized instruction and implement IEPs in inclusive or resource classrooms.
- Assist students with diverse learning needs access curriculum and achieve academic success.
- Elementary / Middle School Functional Skills Teacher –
- Deliver direct support to students with significant needs.
- Implement adaptive living and foundational academic skills to foster independence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree [Required]
- Master’s degree (Preferred)
- Active TN Teaching license with Special Education endorsement [Required]
- Knowledge of SPED practices and experience with behavioral/emotional disabilities [Required]
- Commitment to serving underserved students and aligning with the school's mission
- 2+ years of Teaching experience, particularly in urban or charter school environments (Preferred)
