Position Overview:

  • Deliver direct PT services (30-minute sessions) to a minimal caseload of approx. 3 students per Individualized Education Program (IEP) mandates.
  • Conduct assessments and establish functional goals specifically related to the student's ability to navigate the school environment.
  • Advise staff and families on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to ensure campus accessibility.
  • Manage a streamlined, part-time schedule across two Baton Rouge campuses with minimal administrative burden.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or qualifying degree
  • Valid Louisiana Physical Therapist (PT) License (Required)
  • Experience in pediatrics or school-based settings (Preferred)
