Position Overview: 

• Private Special Education Center
• 2nd-5th Grade Special Education Teacher

Key Responsibilities: 

• Serve as a member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to determine: The students eligibility for Special Education services, instructional program, goals and objectives, and progress toward individualized objectives
• Provide individualized and small group instruction and periodic assessments as specified by the students IEP
• Provide an appropriate physical and social/emotional environment 

Qualifications: 

• IL Special Education License
• IL Professional Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement 
• Prior experience in Special Education preferred, with an understanding of development and implementation of individualized education plans.
