Cross Country Education is seeking two dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT/CBT) to join our onsite team in Puyallup, WA! Step into a role where your behavioral expertise truly changes lives for the remainder of the '25-'26 school year.
Position Overview:- Provide high-quality, 1:1 behavioral therapy to students, implementing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs to foster skill acquisition and social development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavior frequency using data-collection software to support evidence-based adjustments to treatment plans.
- Execute Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with precision, utilizing approved de-escalation techniques and reinforcement strategies to manage challenging behaviors safely and effectively.
- Work closely under the supervision of a BCBA and alongside educational staff to ensure behavioral strategies are consistently integrated into the student’s daily academic routine.
Qualifications:
- Active BACB Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Valid Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) License
- Must have either an Associate Degree, 72+ quarter credits, or a passing score on the ParaPro assessment.
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents in a behavioral health or classroom setting, with a strong understanding of ABA principles
