Position Overview:

• Design and implement individualized lessons within a self-contained setting to meet diverse academic and functional needs.
• Lead a dedicated caseload, drafting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tracking progress, and facilitating annual review meetings.
• Maintain a structured, supportive environment using evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional strategies.
• Partner with parents, therapists, and general education staff to ensure integrated services and necessary student accommodations and modifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid South Carolina Certification in Multi-Categorical (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe also accepted)
• Prior experience working with elementary-aged students
