Position Overview:

• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to students with autism spectrum disorders in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Develop, implement, and monitor educational goals, behavioral supports, accommodations, and communication strategies to promote academic, social, and functional skill development.
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress and success.
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and compliance with special education regulations and district policies.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification with the Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and implementing evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies (Preferred)
