Position Overview: 

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments for elementary students to determine eligibility for special education services, evaluating intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Facilitate the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process by participating in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee, interpreting data, and assisting in the development of appropriate placement and measurable goals.
• Deliver direct and indirect intervention services, including creating psychological reports and behavior plans, and conducting individual, group, and family counseling.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents on the interpretation of assessment data and the effective implementation of psycho-social and behavior management interventions.

Qualifications: 

• Master's Degree in Psychology
• Valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or possess a Trainee Status Letter issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
• Skilled in assessment, IEP implementation, and therapeutic outcomes evaluation
