Position Overview:
- Oversee an elementary-level caseload (K-5), providing essential social work services and behavioral support.
- Lead the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) process and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Conduct thorough student assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs and develop intervention plans.
- Partner with staff and families to facilitate progress meetings and foster a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid Michigan State Board Social Worker License
- Active Michigan School Social Worker Certification
- Prior school-based experience managing IEPs/METs and providing social-emotional interventions for elementary students
