Position Overview:
- Provide 1:2 direct instructional support to middle school students during the specialized morning block (8:15 AM - 10:15 AM), following pre-designed, intensive reading intervention plans.
- Utilize Orton-Gillingham (OG) or Reading Specialist methods to support students with dyslexia and specific reading goals.
- Assist the Special Education Teacher with data collection, material management, and maintaining a structured environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
- Orton-Gillingham (OG) Certification/Training or Reading Specialist Certification
