Position Overview:
- Design and deliver engaging health education lessons aligned to NYS and national standards, covering topics like nutrition, mental health, substance abuse prevention, and human development.
- Create a diverse and inclusive classroom, facilitating physical activities that promote collaboration and skill-building.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, or a related field (Required)
- Master’s degree in Health/PE or related field (Preferred)
- NYS Certification (or in-progress) in Health or PE (Required)
- At least two years of teaching experience required, preferably with grades 9-12 in an urban setting
