Position Overview:
- Provide specialized instruction and academic interventions to students with diverse learning needs through both inclusive classroom support and small-group instruction.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student growth and achievement in core academic areas.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate accommodations, modifications, and student supports.
- Track student progress, maintain required documentation, and use assessment data to inform instructional planning and intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience supporting K-8 students with learning and developmental disabilities (Preferred)
