Passionate about supporting student wellness and mental health? Cross Country Education is seeking a School Social Worker to support a diverse K–12 student population in Sebring, FL during the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview:
- Participate in Child Study, Collaborative Problem Solving, and IEP meetings to assess student needs and develop integrated intervention plans.
- Conduct student observations, interviews, and assessments across school and home settings while connecting families with appropriate community resources.
- Maintain accurate case documentation, reports, and student records while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
- Provide social-emotional and behavioral support to address barriers to learning and promote student engagement and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work/Social Welfare preferred; Bachelor’s degree considered with current School Social Worker Certification
- Active Florida School Social Worker Certification or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Credential
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
