Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2026-27 school year in the vibrant North Phoenix, AZ area. Join our multidisciplinary team and help students master the skills they need for a successful future!

Position Overview: 

  • Design and deliver instruction tailored to IEP goals, modifying grade-level curriculum to meet the unique learning styles of students with hearing impairments.
  • Administer academic assessments and lead the development of standards-based IEPs and MET reports to ensure compliant documentation and measurable progress.
  • Partner with audiologists and school staff to implement modified programs and ensure successful student mainstreaming within the general education environment.
  • Recommend and manage FM equipment and other assistive technologies to optimize student access to communication across all school settings.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Deaf Education, or a related field
  • Valid Arizona Special Education Certification in Hearing Impaired (K-12) (Provisional, Standard, or Reciprocal)
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and active SEI Endorsement (Required)
