Position Overview:
- Identify and address factors that impact the adjustment to school and academic success for elementary-aged students by providing essential social-emotional and behavioral support.
- Develop and implement effective interventions, participate in IEP processes, and facilitate access to necessary resources.
- Conduct assessments and develop social-developmental histories to identify student needs, inform IEPs, and guide appropriate interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or higher in Social Work
- IL Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
- Ability to pass required background checks and obtain IL fingerprint clearance
