Position Overview 

  • Provide occupational therapy services that help high school students build functional skills, independence, and confidence in the school environment.
  • Partner with teachers and school support teams to develop practical strategies that help students engage in classroom activities and navigate their daily school routines.
  • Apply individualized occupational therapy interventions based on each student's unique needs, abilities, and educational goals.
  • Track student progress, maintain timely documentation, and collaborate with the school team to support positive student outcomes.

Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel  (Occupational Therapist) endorsement
  • Experience working with high school students in an educational or specialized student-support setting preferred
