Make a meaningful difference in a student’s school experience! Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a high school student throughout the school day in Stafford Springs, CT during the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Overview 

• Deliver dedicated 1:1 nursing care to a high school student, promoting their health, safety, comfort, and access to education throughout the school day.
• Manage hands-on care and monitoring related to the student’s individual medical needs, including G-tube feeding and oxygen support, in accordance with established care plans and school procedures.
• Coordinate necessary medical supplies and equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the classroom teacher and appropriate school staff.
• Accompany the student during daily transportation on the bus to and from school, remaining attentive to their health and safety throughout the commute.

Qualifications 

• Active Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications
• Valid Driver's License and ability to safely lift and transfer up to 50 lbs
• Experience providing hands-on 1:1 support to a student with complex medical needs, including G-tube and oxygen support, preferred
