Position Overview 

  • Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, supporting their educational participation, functional skills, and progress toward independence.
  • Interpret evaluations and assessment results to identify student needs and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team.
  • Deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions and monitor student progress to improve functional, academic, and developmental outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate student records and consult with school teams to help students generalize therapeutic skills across academic and school environments.

Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Occupational Therapist License
  • Minimum of pediatric occupational therapy experience required; previous school-based experience strongly preferred
