Position Overview 

  • Provide occupational therapy services to middle school students, supporting their educational participation, functional skills, and progress toward individualized goals.
  • Conduct initial and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility and recommend appropriate supports and interventions.
  • Provide MTSS and IEP support while collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and skill development.
  • Consult with school teams to help students generalize therapeutic skills across academic and school environments.

Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License
  • School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills
