Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Elementary English Language Arts Teacher to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment in Bridgeport, CT. Position Overview:
- The English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher delivers engaging lessons to elementary students, while maintaining a structured and productive classroom environment.
- Plan, prepare, and implement daily lesson plans, activities, and assignments, as well as create and grade assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Connecticut Teaching Certification (Preferred)
- Non-Certified Candidates: Must have 12+ relevant subject-area credits and provide a copy of their transcript
- 1-2 years experience teaching, preferably English Language Arts (ELA)
