Ready to make a meaningful impact at a premier district in Norwalk, CT? Cross Country Education is looking for a versatile Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated high school team for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year!
 
Position Overview:

  • Partner with general education teachers to provide specialized instruction and modifications within an inclusive classroom setting.
  • Lead small-group sessions focused on executive functioning skills and provide direct instruction for core subjects in a self-contained environment.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); utilize specialized software (IEP Direct) to collect, analyze, and report on student data.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Valid Connecticut Special Education Certification (165 Endorsement Required)
  • Proven experience with IEP data collection and proficiency in IEP management software
  • Prior experience in various classroom environments, ranging from co-teaching to self-contained settings (Preferred)
