Position Details

  • We are looking for 15-20 - Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) who is available 5 days/wk from 8/16/21 – 6/10/22.


Special Notes

  • Qualification: Able to work with a team High paced environment , Multitask, and most importantly Reliable.
  • Core hrs: 6hrs/day. Most probably 8-2:30. They will be assigned to 1 school site.
  • Health Office LVN duties Provide a variety of health services to students at an assigned school Site. COVID screening. observe student health needs. Administer first aid to ill or injured students perform CPR; take temperatures; distribute adhesive bandages, ice and compresses as necessary; administer medications including Epi-Pens, diabetic care (administer insulin and g-tube medications) according to physician instructions and established District procedures. maintain log of student coming into the health office. Prepare and maintain a variety of records, files and reports related to student health, nutrition, medications and daily health office activities. Assist in the facilitation and preparation of health screenings and immunization programs Report suspected contagious and communicable diseases to appropriate District personnel. Assist registered nurses or Special Education staff with specialized medical procedures such as tracheostomy care and gastrostomy feedings as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active State Certification or current License
