Position Overview
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support to TK–5 students with mild-to-moderate learning needs through both push-in and pull-out services.
- Serve as case manager for assigned students, coordinating IEP development, meetings, progress monitoring, and implementation of individualized goals and accommodations.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt instruction, assignments, and classroom strategies to meet student needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation to inform instructional planning and IEP updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Valid California Special Education Credential with Mild/Moderate Disabilities or equivalent authorization and English Learner (EL) authorization required
- Experience providing resource specialist, push-in/pull-out, or special education services in an elementary school setting preferred
