Ready to help students navigate challenges and thrive at school? Join Cross Country Education as a licensed Mental Health Professional providing in-person counseling and mental health support to high school students in Immokalee, FL during a temporary maternity leave coverage assignment.
Position Overview
- Provide individual and/or group counseling and mental health interventions to support high school students’ emotional, behavioral, and social well-being.
- Assess student needs and develop appropriate interventions to address mental health concerns and promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with school staff and other support professionals to promote student success, safety, and access to appropriate resources.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable school and professional requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field
- Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Registered interns are not eligible for this position
- Experience providing mental health services to high school-aged students, preferably in a school or youth-serving setting
