Position Overview: 

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing research-based instruction and teaching techniques to help K-5 students.
• Assess and monitor student progress to determine the effectiveness of instructional strategies and implement adjustments.
• Partner with the child study team to coordinate instructional strategies and the best approach assist students. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree 
  • Master’s degree or HQ status in relevant academic area (Preferred) 
• Tennessee Teaching License with Special Education endorsement 
• Knowledge of SPED practices and behavioral / emotional disabilities 
• 2+ years of Teaching experience (Urban / Charter school Preferred)
