Position Overview

• Provide nursing care to elementary school students, promoting health, safety, and participation in daily educational activities.
• Monitor student health needs, including pediatric diabetes management, and respond appropriately to medical concerns.
• Collaborate with school staff to implement care plans, maintain accurate health records, and support a safe learning environment.
• Deliver consistent nursing coverage throughout the school day to ensure continuity of care during a long-term substitute assignment.

Qualifications 

• Active New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of pediatric care and pediatric diabetes management required, with the ability to support elementary-aged students in a school setting
