Position Overview:- Provide instruction to support students from grades K-5 develop language proficiency and update parents of their child's language development and academic progress.
- Administer language assessments (e.g. TELPAS) to track student growth and make adjustments to lessons and instructions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Texas Teacher Certification with a Bilingual Spanish Endorsement or English as a Second Language Supplemental Certification
- Generalist / Core Content Area Certification for Grades K-5
- 2 years of experience teaching as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher
